2:30pm – There are no customers in the restaurant. Tanya is sitting on the windowsill talking with Angie who is standing near the register.
2:31pm – Angie refills creamers in a few condiment caddies near her.
2:35pm – Customer 1 enters and sits at the counter. Angie gets a water and cup of coffee and places them on an empty table. She then greets customer 1 and gets her a drink.
2:37pm – Customer 2 enters and sits at the booth where Angie placed the drinks. Angie has not rung in any orders yet. Customer 2's order was rung in and paid for at 6:06pm (Order #001-110640) Tanya gets up from the windowsill and gets herself something to drink. Angie goes to the kitchen to unload the dishwasher.
2:39pm – Angie goes to the register to ring in customer 1’s order. (Order #001-110626)
2:40pm – Tanya begins working on customer 1’s order. Angie cleans off an empty table and restocks things around the beverage counter.
2:46pm – Tanya plates the order and hands it to Angie to give to customer 1. Angie then returns to restocking table caddies. Tanya goes to the restroom.
2:48pm – Tanya returns from the restroom and stands around the kitchen.
2:55pm – Tanya makes a list and checks that items are stocked in all of the kitchen coolers. Angie wipes down menus while she chats with customer 1.
3:03pm – Tanya goes to the register and rings in a discounted meal for herself. (Order #001-110627) She then goes to the kitchen and stands around.
3:06pm – Angie goes to the register and clocks out for break. She then grabs a chair from the break table and goes outside. Tanya pulls out a burger patty for her meal and seasons it on the counter.
3:09pm – Tanya gets customer 2 a coffee refill. Tanya then clears away the empty plate from customer 1 and stands around.
3:12pm – Customer 3 enters and sits at a booth. Tanya greets him with silverware and gets him a drink.
3:13pm – Tanya gets customer 3 a cup of chili before going to the register to ring in customer 3’s order. (Order #001-110628)
3:14pm – Tanya goes to the kitchen to work on the order for customer 3.
3:18pm – Tanya plates the order and takes it to customer 3. She then checks on customers 1&2. Tanya gets customer 2 a coffee refill.
3:20pm – Tanya goes to the kitchen and begins making her meal.
3:26pm – Customer 1 goes to the register to pay. Tanya also goes to the register to process her card payment. Customer 1 leaves.
3:28pm – Tanya plates her food. Customer 3 sets cash on the counter to pay for his order and leaves. Tanya takes the cash to the register to process the payment.
3:29pm – Tanya cleans off the counter and table where customers 1 and 3 left from.
3:32pm – Angie clocks back in from break and grabs a towel to wipe down the counter.
3:33pm – Tanya clocks out for break and goes to the break table to eat. Angie is wiping down menus and table tent holders.
3:44pm – Customers 4-6 enter together. Customer 6 goes to the restroom while customers 4&5 sit at a booth. Angie greets them, gets their drinks, then returns to wiping things down.
3:48pm – Customer 6 returns from the restroom and joins customers 4&5. An online order comes in. (UE Order #999-22718) Angie gets the drink for the order then packs up the rest of the online order and sets it on the counter.
3:53pm – Angie checks on customers 4-6. She then goes to the kitchen and begins making a double cheeseburger and fries. (GH Order #607134057348448)
3:55pm – Angie checks on customers 4-6 again. She then goes to the register and rings in their order. (Order #001-110629)
3:57pm – Angie goes back to the kitchen. She packs up the Grub Hub order and sets it on the counter.
3:59pm – A delivery driver enters to pick up one of the online orders. Angie hands him the order and he leaves. Angie then gets customers 4-6 their chilies before returning to the kitchen to work on the rest of their order.
4:05pm – Tanya clocks back in from break and goes to the kitchen.
4:07pm – Angie plates the order for customers 4-6 and takes it out to them. Another delivery driver enters to pick up the other online order. Tanya hands her the order and she leaves.
4:08pm – Another online order comes in. (DD Order#999-22719) Tanya begins making it.
4:09pm – Angie goes to the register and rings in an “Open Delivery” order. (Order #001-110630)
4:10pm – Customers 7&8 enter together and sit at a booth. Angie greets them and gets their drinks.
4:11pm – Angie checks on customer 2 and gets him a coffee refill.
4:13pm – Tanya packs up the online order and sets it on the counter. Angie checks on customers 7&8 then goes to the register to ring in their order. (Order #001-110631) Tanya works on the order.
4:15pm – Angie goes to the back and rinses some dishes. She then checks on customers 4-6 and stands around chatting with them.
4:18pm – Customer 9 enters and goes to the register. Angie packs up a bowl of chili. She then goes to the register where she rings it in. (Order # 001-110632) Customer 9 pays cash for the order and leaves.
4:20pm – A delivery driver enters to pick up the online order. Angie hands him the order and he leaves.
4:22pm – Tanya plates the order for customers 7&8 and sets them on the counter. Angie takes the plated food to the customers then works on some prep at the end of the beverage counter.
4:25pm – Angie checks on customers 4-6. They hand her a card to pay for their order. Angie takes it to the register to process their payment. She returns their card and clears away empty plates from their table. Tanya is standing around the kitchen.
4:28pm – Customers 10&11 enter together and sit at a booth. Customers 4-6 leave.
4:29pm – Angie greets customers 10&11 and gets them drinks. She then goes to the register to ring in their order. (Order #001-110633)
Summary:
-Employees are forbidden from sitting on the job except in the break area while on meal break.
-Ring it, THEN bring it. ALL items must be rung in before being made/taken to the customer, INCLUDING DRINKS!
-Customers should not be allowed to loiter for hours.

(Order #004-28218) Tara is in the kitchen working on prep. Taylor is sitting on the soup counter, on her phone.
3:32pm – Taylor gets up and checks the soups in the warmers then stands around.
3:34pm – An online order comes in. (DD Order #999-18871) Tara stops prep to work on the order. Taylor gets the soup for the order packed.
3:37pm – Taylor checks on customers 3&4 and gets them drink refills. She then clears away empty plates from customers 1&2 and takes them to the sink.
3:39pm – Tara packs up the online order and sets it on the counter. She then returns to prep. Taylor goes to the register and rings in a discounted order for herself. (Order #001-65205)
