12:48am – Jackie plates the steak and sets it on the server counter. She then goes to check on customer 3 and gets him a drink refill. Jackie then goes to the register to ring in the steak for herself. (Order #001-106223)

12:49am – Jackie stands at the server counter to eat. Eating is to be done at the employee meal counter. This is a violation of the meals and breaks policy as well as #8 Shift Expectations https://www.aldridgeinc.com/employees/handbook/Handbook.php#shiftexpectations

12:50am – Desiree returns and sits at the break table.

12:54am – Jackie checks on customer 3 and clears away his empty plate.

12:57 – Jackie finishes eating her steak and takes her plate to the dishwasher.

12:58am – Jackie returns to standing at the server counter.

1:01am – Customer 3 goes to the register to pay for his order. Jackie goes to the register to process his cash payment and the customer leaves.

1:02am – Jackie cleans the table customer 3 left. Customers 4&5 enter together and sit at a booth.

1:03am – Jackie greets customers 4&5 and gets them drinks. She then grabs a handheld and returns to ring in their order. (Order #004-30345)

1:04am – Customer 6 enters and sits at the counter.

1:05am – An online order comes in. (UE Order #999-20460)

1:06am – Jackie greets customer 6 and gets him a drink. She then rings in his order at the register. (Order # 001-106224)

1:08am – Jackie goes to the kitchen to work on orders.

1:12am – Customers 7-10 enter together and sit at a booth.

1:14am – Jackie greets customers 7-10 then gets them waters.

1:16am – Desiree goes to the register and clocks back in from break. She then goes to the kitchen, washes her hands and jumps in to help Jackie with orders.

1:17am – Jackie plates one of the orders and takes it out to customers 4&5.

1:18am – Jackie grabs a handheld and rings in an order for customers 7-10. (Order #004-30346) Desiree works on other orders.

1:20am – Jackie checks on customers 4&5. They hand her a card she then takes to the register to process their payment.

1:21am – Customer 11 enters and sits at the counter. Jackie greets him and rings in his order. (Order #001-106225)

1:23am – Jackie goes to the kitchen to get the order Desiree just plated and takes it to customer 6. She then returns to the kitchen to help Desiree.

1:27am – A delivery driver enters to pick up the online order. He sits at a booth while he waits for the order to be ready.

1:31am – Desiree packs up the online order and hands it to Jackie. Jackie goes to get the drinks for the online order. Jackie then confirms the order with the delivery driver and he leaves.

1:32am – Jackie returns to the kitchen to help Desiree with the remaining orders.

1:35am – Customer 6 goes to the register to pay. Jackie goes to the register to process his card payment and he leaves. Jackie gets cash from the change safe for the register. She then returns to helping Desiree in the kitchen.
1:39am – Desiree begins plating the order for customers 7-10 and starts taking plates out to their table.

1:49am – Jackie goes to get customer 11 silverware. Desiree plates part of of customer 11’s order and takes it out to him.

1:50am – Jackie goes outside for a smoke break. Desiree goes back to the kitchen to finish the order for customer 11.

1:51am – Desiree plates the rest of the order for customer 11 and takes it out to him. She then returns to the kitchen to tidy up.

1:54am – Jackie returns from her smoke break and goes to the kitchen to wash her hands. She then helps tidy up in the kitchen.

1:55am – Jackie begins to clear off the counter where customer 6 left.

1:59am – Customer 12 enters and sits at a booth. Jackie greets her and gives her a moment to look over the menu. Jackie then checks on customer 11. He hands her cash. She takes to the register to process his payment.

2:01am – Jackie checks on customer 12. She is still deciding.

2:02am – Customer 4&5 leave. Jackie gets customer 11 a small to-go box.

2:03am – Jackie brings customer 12 a water and grabs a handheld to ring in her order. (Order #004-30347) Customer 11 leaves.

2:04am – Desiree begins working on the order for customer 12.

2:05am – Customers 13&14 enter together and sit at a booth.

2:06am – Customers 7-10 hand cash to Jackie to pay for their order and leave. Jackie takes the cash to register to process the payment.

2:08am – Jackie greets customers 13&14 and gets them drinks. She then grabs a handheld to ring in their order. (Order #004-30348)

2:10am – Jackie clears plates from the counter and takes them to the dishwasher. She then unloads clean dishes and puts them away. Desiree is still working on orders.

2:15am – Desiree plates part of the order for customer 12 and takes it out to her. Desiree then returns to the kitchen to continue working on orders. Jackie is clearing tables.

2:18am – Desiree plates the appetizer for customers 13&14. Jackie takes it out to them then continues cleaning tables and dishes.

2:28am – Desiree begins to plate the rest of the order for customers 13 &14. Jackie takes it out to them. Customers 15&16 enter together and go straight to the restroom.

2:30am – Desiree packs up the take out portion of customer 12’s order. Jackie is back the dishwasher.


Summary:

-Ring it, THEN bring it. All items INCLUDING EMPLOYEE MEALS must be rung in before being made/taken to the customer.

-Meals are to be eaten during your 30-minute meal break – Not before or after.

-Smoking is permitted only during your 30-minute meal break. No additional smoke breaks are allowed during shift.
