Hours viewed – 3:30pm-5:30pm

3:30pm – There are two tables of customers in the restaurant already eating. Customers 1&2 entered together and ordered @2:56pm. (Order #004-28217) Customers 3&4 entered together and ordered @3:12pm. (Order #004-28218) Tara is in the kitchen working on prep. Taylor is sitting on the soup counter, on her phone.

3:32pm – Taylor gets up and checks the soups in the warmers then stands around.

3:34pm – An online order comes in. (DD Order #999-18871) Tara stops prep to work on the order. Taylor gets the soup for the order packed.

3:37pm – Taylor checks on customers 3&4 and gets them drink refills. She then clears away empty plates from customers 1&2 and takes them to the sink.

3:39pm – Tara packs up the online order and sets it on the counter. She then returns to prep. Taylor goes to the register and rings in a discounted order for herself. (Order #001-65205)

3:40pm – Customers 1&2 go to the register to pay. Taylor processes their card payment and they leave.

3:42pm – Taylor cleans off the table customers 1&2 left.

3:44pm – A delivery driver enters to pick up the online order. Taylor conforms the order with the dasher and they leave.

3:46pm – Taylor checks on customers 3&4 and gets them a coffee refill.

3:48pm – Taylor goes to the back to get her wallet then takes it to the register to pay cash for her order. Tara goes to the restroom.

3:52pm – Taylor begins making her order.

3:56pm – Tara returns from the restroom.

3:57pm – Tara sits on a step stool outside of the walk-in cooler and checks her phone. Taylor plates her food and sets it on the break table.

3:58pm – Customer 5 enters and sits at a booth. Taylor greets him and rings in his order. (Order #001-65206) Taylor then gets the customer his drink and soup.

4:01pm – Tara gets up and goes into the cooler.

4:02pm – Customers 3&4 hand Taylor a card to pay for their order. Taylor goes to the register to process their payment and takes the receipt to customers for them to sign.

4:03pm – Taylor goes to the break table and begins eating her meal.

4:04pm – Tara exits the cooler and sits on the step stool again.

4:05pm – Taylor checks on customers and makes a fresh pot of coffee.

4:07pm – Customers 3&4 leave. Taylor cleans off their table.

4:08pm – Tara gets up from the step stool and sits at the break table.

4:09pm – Tara lays on the ground next to the break table. (possibly ill) Taylor checks on her/chats while she eats her food.

4:13pm – Tara sits up, still on the floor. Taylor checks on customer 5. he’s ready to pay so they both go to the register where Taylor processes his card payment. Customer 5 leaves. Taylor cleans off the table he left.

4:14pm – Alyssa Turner enters the kitchen, off shift and wearing street clothes, with bags of frozen foods. She drops her food into the fryer baskets to cook. Tara is now up off the floor and standing around talking with Alyssa and Taylor.

4:19pm – Alyssa begins to remove her food from the fryers and puts it into 4 large to-go boxes. Taylor clocks out for break and goes to sit at the break table to finish eating. Tara sits at the soup counter.

4:23pm – Alyssa finishes packing up her things and leaves.

4:29pm – Tara gets up from the soup counter and goes to the back to load the dishwasher.

4:31pm – Tara returns to sitting at the soup counter.

4:50pm – Taylor clocks back in from break and gets herself a drink.

4:51pm – Tara gets up and rings in a no bev order for herself. (Order #001-65207) She then clocks out for break and leaves. Taylor works on prep in the back.

5:08pm – Taylor stands around.

5:16pm – Taylor goes to the back to unload the dishwasher and put things away.

5:19pm – Customer 6 enters and sits at a booth. Taylor greets her, rings in her drink order and goes to get her the drink. (Order #001-65208)

5:21pm – Tara returns and clocks back in from break.

5:22pm – Taylor rings in customer 6’s food order then stands around. Tara goes to the kitchen to make order.

5:29pm – Tara plates the food for customer 6 and Taylor takes it out to her.



Summary:

-Employees are forbidden from sitting on the job except in the break area while on meal break.

-Meals are to be eaten during your 30-minute meal break – Not before or after.

-Excessive phone usage. Should be working on tablet duties and prep, instead of standing/sitting around on the phone.
